8th Grade PE Students Start Soccer Unit

Since the weather finally warmed up last week, Mrs. Netolicky’s 8th grade PE classes were able to go outside and start their soccer unit. They usually do 2 ‘lead-up’ games and then 2 days of actual games and have some kind of tournament when they are learning team games. Last Wednesday they played a game called Pin Ball Soccer. It helps students develop  fundamentals and team work because they play with 6 soccer balls and have more than one way to score a point (more people moving and involved). After most students get the concept and understand how to win, they really enjoyed the game and asked if they could play again sometime, class vs class!
