The Marion School Foundation is hosting a Hearts of Gold event on Friday, June 14th at Epic Event Center in Marion. This community event is a celebration of 30 years for the Foundation and 140 years of the Alumni Association.
Community leader Bob Hoyt will be our emcee and Greg Hapgood will be the evening’s honoree in recognition of his work starting the Foundation 30 years ago. All proceeds from this event will support the mission of the Foundation. There is a VIP Reception sponsored by Bob and Mary Rathje at 5 pm followed by a Reception for all guests at 6 pm and Dinner at 7 pm. A short program and live auction will finish out the night. Both VIP and Standard tickets are available on our website at www.Marion-Foundation.org. Additional information is attached. The event is for ages 21+.
Over the past 30 years, the Foundation has funded technology, innovative curriculum, summer camp opportunities, fine arts, athletics, facility enhancements, programs for at-risk students and their families, scholarships for graduates pursuing post-secondary education and more. We are grateful to have the support of alumni, local businesses, area leaders, and school district families like you to make it all possible.
