August 5, 2020
A few quick reminders as we approach the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
The annual online registration process is open and accessible from our website. This is required for ALL families. On-site registration is NOT necessary, but if you require assistance in the registration process contact the building office to schedule an appointment.
Families choosing the online learning option for your child to start the year must also complete a required enrollment process by Aug. 10, as noted in the MISD Return to Learn Guidebook. To request online learning for your child please follow the enrollment process below depending on the age of your child.
*For students at the K-8 level, please click this link to enroll in online learning.
*For students at the 9-12 level, please contact the HS counseling office regarding schedule changes.
*For PK students, please contact Nicole Harmer, principal at Longfellow Elementary.
For students attending on-site, we will be following an A/B Cohort model for the first two weeks of school, Aug. 24-Sep. 4.
*Cohort A: Students with last names A-J (*plus students with siblings with a different last name K-Z but who reside in the same household)
*Cohort B: Students with last names K-Z

If you are in need of additional information, please see the MISD Return to Learn Guidebook or contact the building principal, school counselors, or assistant superintendent, Gretchen Kriegel for more information.
