MHSAP offers an extensive variety of Enrichment Classes every year. And this year is no exception! One of those very popular classes was made possible thanks to the time of many generous volunteers.
Youth are learning the craft of woodcarving thanks to 9 members from the Cedar Valley Woodcarvers. Every Friday for 12 weeks 16 MHSAP Woodcarving 1 high school students have carved carrots, cacti, pumpkins, comfort birds, butter knives and spoons. With the new wooden spoons, many enjoyed ice cream during their last class this semester.
Thank you to the experienced woodcarvers who gave over 170 hours of their time to pass on something that they love!
