Where: Multiple Locations including Francis Marion Intermediate School, Squaw Creek Mobile Home Park, Marion Village Mobile Home Park, Eagle Ridge Mobile Home Park, Chapel Ridge Apartments, Valley View Apartments, Novak Elementary, Lindale Manor Mobile Home Park, and Wilkins Elementary.
Who: For Students 18 and Under
What: Free Nutritious Meals
Where: Vernon Middle School, 1350 4th Avenue
When: June 8-July 30 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (ONLY Monday through Thursday)
We are excited to announce the selection of Hannah Byrne as the next Assistant Director for the Marion Home School Assistance Program. Hannah will begin her duties on July 1, 2026. Hannah is replacing Trent Jeffrey, who has been hired as the next Marion Home School Assistance Program Director. #MISDInspire #MISDOwnYourFuture
Trent is replacing Tom Ertz, who has been the Marion Home School Assistance Program Director for the past 28 years.

As part of our Stop the Prop campaign, you’ll notice new stickers on school doors across the district. These gentle reminders ask everyone to close doors behind them and avoid propping doors open.
It’s a small step that makes a big impact. 🚸
