Marion Way winners for RESPECT!
Students in Mrs Wilson’s 4th grade social skills group are learning about anger management through stories. After reading Soda Pop Head by Julia Cook, they made a soda bottle to represent ways they can “control their fizz.”
3T was beyond excited about crayfish learning! We have many that were eager to handle them and some that were very close. We cannot wait to continue learning! 🦞
Today is National Superhero Day. During morning meeting, Mrs. Green’s class reflected and wrote down who their real life superhero is. Lots of superhero moms out there! ❤️

PE class of the week 4W
3T worked on understanding area with a hands on activity where students designed a pattern using 10 blocks. Partners then had to decide who had the most area covered and explain why.
3rd graders have been practicing rhythm reading. They worked in groups to perform rhythm patterns on multiple instruments. Nice job musicians!
Students in 3T recognized World Gratitude Day during Counselor class with Mrs. Shields by sharing what they are grateful for.

Students in 4W are playing the roles of talk show host and of the author Peg Kehret and interviewing each other as they have read her personal narrative, Small Steps.
3T worked in groups to create graphs with data
Fourth grade classes have been learning how to read line and space notes to prepare for the start of their recorder unit. They played ‘Toss A Note’ to practice identifying pitch and working with each other. Keep up the good work! 🎶
