FMI Reads is an after school book club for all 3rd and 4th grade students offered four times per year.  Book clubs typically meet for four sessions after school from 3:30-4:10 pm.  Your fee covers a copy of the book we’re reading–which is yours to keep once book club is completed! We also provide a drink and snack for your child to enjoy as well and will work with our nurse’s office to accommodate food allergies if students have specific dietary needs.  We want everyone to have the opportunity to be in book club and have a limited number of scholarships available for students who might not be able to afford book club.  Please contact Mrs. Cannon if this is an issue and we’d be happy to talk with you privately.  We see this as a GREAT opportunity to have kids get their hands on some wonderful books, which are covered in a relatively short amount of time.  Information and permission slips are sent home with students!
