Last year, our students took on an exciting challenge: to read as much as possible and work together toward a shared goal. The result? Over 200,000 minutes of reading were logged throughout the year! This incredible accomplishment highlighted the dedication of our students, the encouragement of our teachers, and the support of our families.
As we begin a new school year, we’re ready to keep the momentum going. The reading program continues with some favorite features that motivate our students:
Reading Logs – Students track their minutes and turn them in regularly.
Prizes – Each completed log earns a reward, celebrating progress and effort.
Weekly Drawings – Every entry gives students a chance to win something special.
More than just prizes, this program is about building lifelong readers. Every page turned, every story explored, and every minute spent with a book brings us closer to our new goal. Together, we’ll continue to grow a school community where reading is celebrated, enjoyed, and valued.
