Our young artists have been busy celebrating the fall season through creativity and color!
Kindergarten:
Kindergarten students explored color mixing as they discovered how to make orange paint for their pumpkins. After painting, they used construction paper to add fun details and personality to each pumpkin. To complete their masterpieces, students created watercolor backgrounds, designing a special place for their pumpkins to “sit.” Finally, they used green and yellow paper to add details that brought their fall landscapes to life.

First and Second Grade:
First and second graders took their pumpkin art to the next level! They practiced mixing colors to create both orange for their pumpkins and green for their leaves. Once their painted pumpkins were ready, students used chalk to blend together a starry night sky, inspired by famous works of art. They then collaged their pumpkins and backgrounds together to complete their stunning fall scenes.
Each student’s artwork is a beautiful reflection of their creativity, growing art skills, and love for hands-on learning!
