Marion Independent will be closed Tuesday, January 26th due to the weather.

Marion Independent will operate on a 2 hour late start schedule for Tuesday, January 26th. No breakfast will be served. School start times are delayed 2 hours.

MHSAP Weather Update for Monday, January 25:
All scheduled classes that end by 3:00pm will meet today.*
(This includes the M.S. Drama practice.)
Band is cancelled due to the expected snow fall at that time.
*Note: All art classes were already canceled today due to an unavoidable situation.
WEATHER UPDATE: MISD has no classes on Monday, January 25. Here is an update for MHSAP classes.
Monday morning's classes (with the exception of Multi-Age Art) and activities will proceed as scheduled. By 10:00am we will have a better idea when the storm will start accumulating in the afternoon and make a call on those classes and activities at that time. Multi-Age Art, however, will also be cancelled for the afternoon session. Please check our FB page or website for the update. Our enrichment teachers will also send an email to those families who have students in their classes.
There is also a high likelihood that all classes and activities will be cancelled for Tuesday, if the amount of snow arrives that is currently predicted. You will also receive an update on Tuesday plans, probably by the end of the day Monday.
