2nd grade students used the Cooperative Learning Structure “Quiz Quiz Trade” to practice problem-solving and friendship skills with their classmates. Each student had a card with a friendship scenario, their partner helped think of a solution, then they traded cards and found a new partner. This activity gave students the opportunity to work through many different social situations in a fun and engaging way!

When technology wasn't working properly in 2nd grade, Mr. Z grabbed his guitar and sang, "This Land is Your Land" with Mrs. Vargason's class.

Students practiced CKLA Skills large card chaining, stretching and blending sounds to read words with confidence. They also spent time reading their Zack and Ann decodable readers to apply their skills!
