Activities tonight include Boys Track and Field at Vinton-Shellsburg, Girls Track and Field at Center Point-Urbana (both starting at 4:15 pm), as well as Soccer versus CCA at the Marion High School Grass Fields (Girls play at 4:15 pm and Boys play at 5:30 pm). Best of luck!



From Coach Menken and Kuethe: The 7th and 8th Girls Track Teams competed in Independence on April 25 and both came away with 4th place finishes! We are so proud of individual efforts and team contributions! We can't wait to see how you do next week at CPU-TWICE!



From Coach MacTaggart and Coach Merritt: Last night the middle school boys competed at Center Point. There were multiple personal bests and some school records broken! 8th Grade finished 3rd overall and 7th grade finished 4th.




From Coach Menken: Even after nature threw high winds, a little rain, and a little sunshine, the Girls 7th Grade Track Team scored 96 points and placed 4th at the Anamosa Invitational, competing against several new teams. Come support the girls tonight in Independence!


Girls and Boys Track and Field are both tonight at 4:15 pm. Girls travel to Independence and Boys travel to Center Point-Urbana. Good luck to our athletes!

From Coach Kuethe: Congratulations to the 8th grade girls’ track team on their third place finish out of six teams at the Anamosa meet Monday, April 22nd!


On Friday, several VMS students had an opportunity to take a field trip to Camp Courageous. The students saw animals, played laser tag and mini golf, went on a zip line, and played carnival games and won prizes! #VMSInspire











From Coach Menken: The 7th Grade Girls Track team overcame extremely windy conditions on Friday 4/19 to place a strong 4th out of 8 teams at the Benton Bobcat Relays, scoring 83 points. Congratulations to our athletes! #VMSInspire
