Each classroom has a focus of the week that correlates with the Marion Way. As the week progresses, teachers reteach that focus area and at the end of the week, they choose a student who meets that expectation or goes above and beyond!

Parkview 2nd graders are practicing their reading fluency by reading decodable passages. On Monday, they completed a “cold read” with a partner. Throughout the week, students participate in cooperative learning structures and end the week with a “hot read” to see their progress!

The Marion Monster Mash is taking place on Saturday, October 25 from 11:00am to 3:00pm in the Central Plaza at City Square Park, Uptown Marion. Families are invited to enjoy Trunk or Treat, a costume parade, face painting, and more! 🎃
