In Miss Westen’s 2nd grade class, students practiced their time telling by playing a game called Clock Concentration. They had to work to match up the analog and digital clocks! #edchat #misdinspire #starryinspire
In math, using the Everyday Math curriculum, Kindergarten students are learning about shape combinations. They combined shapes to create new shapes. Students could flip, rotate, turn, and slide the shapes to make different shapes. #starryinspire #misdinspire

2C students played a new math game called “Beat the Calculator” where one student was the brain (mental addition), another was the calculator (addition with calculator only) and the other was the caller (asks for the sum of the 3 numbers they pull). #starryinspire #misdinspire

Marion ISD will be running on a 2 hour delay this morning, Thursday, January 5th due to the weather. No morning preschool or activities.
