Kindergarten students are learning how we can make decisions together as a part of their Rights and Responsibilities Social Studies unit. Each class is voting for which class pet they would choose if we could have one. Ask your child which pet got the most votes in their class!
Using tone generators, Parkview 1st graders got to see and feel how sounds are created. Their big takeaway was that all sounds come from vibrations! When pitch and volume change, those vibrations change too! Look at those focused faces!

1st graders are exploring math centers in their new curriculum. Here, they are learning "What's Behind My Back" where they practice combinations of 10. One partner breaks the tower of 10 behind their back, gives their partner what is left, and partner figures out what is missing.
