Our Library classes recently explored fairy tales and read several versions of "The Three Little Pigs". After creating their own pig houses and Big Bad wolves, they used BeeBots to code the sequence of the story, programming the robots to travel to each pigs house in order!
As part of our PBIS program, students received a School-Wide reward for every class earning 150 class dojo points! They celebrated with a whole school coloring party in the cafeteria!

In art with Miss Deeney, first and second graders use feedback loops to make their work stronger. Through this process, students give compliments, feedback, helpful suggestions, while also practicing taking feedback.

Through our FOSS science kits, Kindergarten students explore how things move by rolling balls down ramps. They learn about cause and effect, make predictions, solve problems, and use simple science words like fast, slow, up, and down all through hands on learning!

Using their FOSS science kits, first graders are learning about weather and air. Using feathers, straws, syringes, and making their own parachutes to investigate air pressure, they are having so much fun with their hands on learning! #parkviewinspire #misdinspire
Counselor Johnson visited Ms. Jess's class to help them learn some new calming strategies. Students learned and practiced: 5 Finger Breathing, Belly Breaths, and Pizza Breathing. Then, they practiced using those strategies when putting together a puzzle with a partner!
During science, Parkview 2nd graders examined a variety of squares made from different materials and explored their properties. Working together, they observed, tested, and discussed clues to figure out what each square was made of.
