As part of their CKLA curriculum, 1st grade students made posters and presented them to the class to review the 3 habitats we have learned about so far over the last week. Students drew the plants and animals that lived there and wrote facts/information about their habitat on the back.

F.L.Y. will be offering free lunches to students during spring break week, March 14th - March 18th at the following locations: Squaw Creek Village, Vernon Middle School, Valley View Apartments, Wilkins Elementary. Serving from 12:00 -12:30pm.
During math, Kindergarten students have learned how to play a game called Hiding Bears. With a partner, students practice finding combinations that add to 10. Students took turns hiding bears and having their partner figure out how many bears are hiding under a "cave".
Music was all around tonight at the Choral Showcase Concert. 2nd - 12th grade performed a combined piece. 🎶 #MISDinspire #MISDOwnYourFuture
