Mrs. Utsinger's reading students are working hard to achieve their goals. Each week they graph their progress and conference with her to see if any changes need to be made with their reading habits. Mrs. U wants everyone to remember that reading at home helps!

FMI music teacher Mr. Tabaka has been introducing students to the ukulele, guiding them through the basics of strumming, chord shapes, and rhythm.

In art, classes earn Splat Days as a reward for following the Marion Way. Students played a game called Chopped Art for their Splat Day. Each person received a mystery bag of items to create with. The goal is to create a unique and fun piece of art!

Today we had our assembly to start our fundraising efforts for the American Heart Association. Students will be brining home information on how to get signed up online. Check out our special "visitor"! There are many fun prizes for students as they reach different fundraising levels which are all outlines on the information coming home.
