What makes a liquid a liquid? What makes a solid a solid? Second graders in 2T have been exploring various solids and liquids in science class and learning new vocabulary to describe their properties. Do you know what a viscous liquid is? On March 5, MISD residents will vote on a Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL). Here are a few things you should know:
✅The MISD tax rate has remained steady for the past 7 years.
✅Renewing the levy will maintain (not increase) the current tax rate.
✅The district is seeking to renew the voted PPEL at $1.34 per $1,000 of taxable value.
✅The overall tax rate was $18.01 in FY 2024.
