Meet Mrs. Mainardi
District Teacher-Librarian
This is her 13th year as a teacher-librarian but only her 2nd year at Longfellow. She spent 2 years as an elementary teacher-librarian in another district before working as the 5-12 teacher-librarian at Vernon/MHS for 8 years. Then moved out of state and worked as a high school teacher-librarian in Illinois before coming back to MISD and now gets to work in all 5 buildings. Like a typical teacher-librarian she likes to read and loves cats. She also enjoys hiking with her family. She has a daughter (Eleonora) and a son (Mateo).
