We are so grateful for everyone's patience and flexibility today as we navigated the unexpected power outage. To our amazing staff, it truly took a village to make an emergency dismissal run as smoothly as it did! Your teamwork and calm under pressure made all the difference. And to our families-Thank you for your understanding, quick responses, and patience. We appreciate you!

Due to a power outage impacting some of our building sites, as well as phones, internet connection, and our kitchens, MISD will be dismissing early.

Marion High School will be dismissing immediately. Other buildings will be dismissing in the near future as soon as we get busses back on site.

More communication will follow shortly.

First graders read the fable "The Maid and the Milk Pail" in their CKLA knowledge block today. Then they practiced using their vocabulary word by "balancing" pails on their heads. It was not as easy as it seemed! #lesinspire
