Bakery class decorated their own layered cakes. Here's the winner of the class competition! This student made a chocolate cake with infused coffee, cherry filling, and buttercream frosting. This unit is practice for our next competition and final project, cupcake wars!



Mrs. Mundorf's AP Lit had a Multiple Choice Question horse race! Congrats to our winning jockeys!


In Mr. Fruehling's law class, K9 officer Kyle Bergen visited to teach about the dog, its capabilities, and saw a search and Mr Fruehling get “bit” :)

For the 2nd year in a row, Marion High School has been awarded the Carrie Chapman Catt Award. This year over 90% of our senior class (165+) have registered to vote. On April 22nd, Mr. Mitchell and '26 class representatives will travel to the Iowa State Capitol to be recognized!

It's getting close to winter break so it's time for Mr. Blech to put on his holiday suit

Preschool carolers visited Marion High School this morning and sang beautifully! Thank you for brightening up our day!


Foods 1 & 2 have been busy crafting wonderful cookie creations. We partnered with Mr. Joyners engineering class and had custom cookie cutters crafted with a 3D printer! Students will decorate (and finally get to eat) their cookies tomorrow before heading into break
