Your respectful and responsible behavior makes a big difference on the experience for all attendees. Here are a few guidelines to follow:
✅ No bags or backpacks are allowed in the stadium
✅ Everyone should be sitting in the stands and avoid loitering in other areas
✅ All students in grades K-6 must be accompanied by an adult to attend games
✅ Students in grades 7-12 should sit in the designated student area

Marion Independent School District is planning our second annual Mental Health & Disabilities Resource Fair for all area families who have students with disabilities, mental health issues, and/or other differences that may impact daily life. This event will be held Tuesday, November 19th from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Marion High School.
This will be an open house event with all community resource tables set up in the gym. In addition, this year we are partnering with LinnMar. LinnMar is collaborating with Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services to schedule informational sessions for families to attend during the open house event in our school auditorium.

The Hungry Wolf Bistro is open once a quarter at MHS to provide students an opportunity to learn about and try their hand at a variety of different restaurant-related jobs.
The Bistro was open again today for students to serve an upscale meal to staff members. Great food, great service, and even a surprise harmonica performance for the birthday girl!

Fundamentals of Design students visited DeNovo Marketing and Advertising Agency, NewBo Market Start Ups and RAYGUN. Connecting our leaning to the world of graphic design! Owning their future!!!



On Tuesday evening, around 150 students and their families attended “Own Your Future” night at MHS. Co-sponsored by MHS and Kirkwood Workplace Learning Connection, the event included a future planning presentation from Mr. Kettmann, 10 college and career seminar options for students to choose from, and an info fair with over 25 reps from local colleges, training programs, employers, and military. Many thanks to everyone who made this event possible!
