On Tuesday evening, around 150 students and their families attended “Own Your Future” night at MHS. Co-sponsored by MHS and Kirkwood Workplace Learning Connection, the event included a future planning presentation from Mr. Kettmann, 10 college and career seminar options for students to choose from, and an info fair with over 25 reps from local colleges, training programs, employers, and military. Many thanks to everyone who made this event possible!

VMS finished a great cross-country season at the WAMAC meet. Both 7th grade girls and 8th grade boys placed 4th. Dredan placed 6th with a time of 11:40, putting him at 5th best all time. Emmy finished 4th with a time of 12:58, breaking the 23-year-old school record! #VMSInspire
At soft start time, Ms. Jenni's preschool class works on fine motor activities. This week they are making playdough monsters, using pattern blocks to make fall shapes, matching colored beads on spider pictures, and matching paper to glue on a candy corn picture. #lesinspire #misdinspire

Second graders finished a unit on Early Asian Civilizations 🌏 and celebrated by trying our chopsticks 🥢 and attempting to write some Chinese characters. They discovered some foods are easier to eat than others! 😁
