During the #CKLA Knowledge Unit on Early World Civilizations, Parkview 1st graders compared Mesopotamia to ancient Egypt civilization. As a culminating activity, they made a king tut mask.

Congratulations to the five Vernon band students who represented our school at the Northeast Iowa Bandmasters Association Honor Band on Saturday. Eighth Grader, Carter, was also selected by audition to the prestigious All-Iowa 8th Grade Honor Band.

GIC students have reached capacity on orders for cutting boards and bookshelves. THANK YOU customers! The students have been communicating with their customers, creating a schedule, working in teams, learning how to use our new engraver, and using tools in our woodshop.
