On this rainy morning, the AMPED class created and dropped their parachutes from the top of Marion Stadium!

To create Kintsugi Pottery, our 8th graders had to break their projects first (scary!) in order to mend them. In relation to the middle school experience, this is important wisdom: accepting one's imperfections is a valuable part of life that makes your journey more interesting.

8th Grade artists created their own version of Japanese Kintsugi pottery. Kintsugi, meaning "golden joinery" is the art of repairing broken pottery by joining the broken pieces with glue, then painting the cracks with metallic paint to make the breakage visible.
