This is a reminder that the VMS Halloween Dance is tomorrow - Thursday, October 23! The dance for Grades 5-6 is 3:15-4:30 pm and Grades 7-8 is 5:00-5:15 pm. Each dance will feature a costume contest, Kona Ice, concessions, photo booth, and music! $2 entry - we can't wait to see you there!

Students in Bakery class completed their final project this week. Their cupcake wars challenge was to make cupcakes and frosting from scratch while presenting them on a crafted display. Students chose a theme to showcase in their decorations and displays. Each group did such a great job working together and showcasing their skills in Bakery class this quarter.




The Marion Monster Mash is taking place on Saturday, October 25 from 11:00am to 3:00pm in the Central Plaza at City Square Park, Uptown Marion. Families are invited to enjoy Trunk or Treat, a costume parade, face painting, and more! 🎃

Today was the Q1 2025 Hungry Wolf Bistro Day at Marion High School. Students worked hard transforming the classroom into a fine dining space and preparing a delicious meal for staff who made reservations, complete with Italian or meatball sub sandwiches, potato salad, and scotcheroos! They even tried their hand at crafting charcuterie boards to practice their kitchen safety skills, and the results were fantastic and scrumptious. Congrats to the entire Bistro Team!




The GIC students went on 2 Career Discovery Tours this week. They visited IFP Motion Solutions and ESCO Group. A big thanks to Mr. Kettmann and Kirkwood's Workplace Learning Connection for setting up this great experience!

Many MHS Band members joined the VMS 8th Grade Band earlier this week for a rehearsal to prepare for their combined pregame performance at tonight's home varsity football game. Good luck to our musicians as they perform tonight! 🎶🎺
