VMS Band Concerts are tonight! 5th and 6th Grade performs at 6:00 pm, and 7th and 8th Grade performs at 7:00 pm. Both concerts will be held in the Vernon Gymnasium.

Kelli Johnson received the 2023 Iowa Elementary School Counselor of the Year for her dedicated work at MISD's Starry Elementary School as their School Counselor. Kelli received the award at the Iowa School Counselor Association Conference. Congratulations, Kelli!

The Vernon Eighth Grade Band members joined the MHS Marching Band to perform as a pep band together at the MHS Senior Night Football Game on October 13th. Due to rain, the event was held indoors, allowing our students to still have a great performance experience! #vmsinspire

Students at Vernon participated in their annual "Buy-A-Bone" game over the last two days in PE classes! This cross-curricular game inspires students to earn money for exercising while putting together a complete skeleton. #vmsinspire
