From Coaches Menken and Kenny: "The 7th Grade Girls Track Team started strong on a beautiful Thursday night (4/16) at their own Marion Invitational placing 2nd place out of 8 teams. The girls scored in every event except one, were supportive of all their teammates as well as other competitors, and had many outstanding performances! The 8th grade Girls Track Team had a close second place finish to Vinton at the Marion Invitational on April 16, scoring 92 points for their 2nd place finish! The team showed incredible sportsmanship to every competitor, had great hand-offs, and had outstanding performances by all! Both teams travel to Benton on 4/24 and Anamosa on 4/27. GO WOLVES!!"
Representatives of the senior class visited the Capitol in Des Moines and met Secretary of State Paul Pate to receive the Carrie Chapman Catt award. This prestigious award is given when over 90% of the graduating class is registered to vote. Congrats seniors!
